So here we go on the Arizer Solo review. This portable vaporizer is compatible with dry herbs. The Solo seems to be quite the favorite among vapor enthusiasts, so let’s check it out and see what all the fuss is about and if it’s warranted.
First off I’ll start with aesthetics. This is a pretty sleek looking vape, it’s around the size of a can of Red Bull. It’s got a little weight to it so it’s not flimsy feeling which is always good. It comes in two color choices: silver and black. Overall I like the looks of this vape. It’s a touch on the plain side but it works.
Now for the performance. Right off the bat I’ll let you know that this is one of the easiest vaporizers to operate, they did a great job of combining simplicity with functionality. The display on the Solo is kind of dually functional. Not only does it tell you the heat setting, but the sweet added bonus is that it lets you know where the battery life is.
That’s a nice feature that not a lot of vapes have. There are 7 heat settings ranging from 122-410 degrees Fahrenheit: 50°C / 122°F, 185°C / 365°F, 190°C / 374°F, 195°C / 383°F, 200°C / 393°F, 205°C / 401°F, 210°C / 410°F. It takes less than two minutes to heat up which is great. It comes with two glass stems, one straight and one elbow bend, that you put your herbs in. Once you insert the stem into the Solo it takes roughly 10 seconds to heat the herb before it’s ready to draw from. One of the negatives that people talk about is that you have to take slow rips and you don’t get a huge rip off of it. However one of the biggest pluses about the solo is that the flavor of the vapor is incredible. So for me I’ll take a great flavor vapor and put up with a little less of it than the other way around.
The battery life is really good, you should get around 3 hours of life from continuous use out of it. A new feature from the slightly revamped model is that you can now use it while it’s recharging, always a plus. It also features a lifetime warranty, how the heck do you beat that?
Most common cons are: stem a little loose, tough rips
Most common pros are: easy to use and maintain, long battery life, excellent tasting vapor, heats up quick
All in all this is definitely one of the best portable vaporizers out there. While not as convenient as some of the other pocket vapes like the Ploom Pax, this one performs so well it’s almost impossible to knock it. I recommend this store to buy the Arizer Solo vaporizer from, it’s an authorized dealer and it’s free shipping anywhere in the US. ** And make sure to type in $124.99 in the Found a Better Price checker to ensure your deal! **
